Sorry

I drifted… I always thought i’d be bigger than these ill thoughts, but I’m not…

I was sick yesterday, I spent the whole day in bed sweating with extreme fever! I woke up to check my email only at 4am and I saw comments that I would’ve never imagined having on this blog…

I read Sinan’s post.. and Yes, Shame on us both.. I was not generalizing… I was trying not to.. but I couldn’t.. I had to call a lebanese friend to cool down.. to feel that ppl who spread hatred ARE individuals… and ARE few… and I do refuse to be a part of.. a bit late.. better than never!

Shame on us both.. I’m sorry for turning this blog into a battlefield of sick words… I’m sorry for getting ppl involved in my own insecurites!!

I’m sorry that I had to close the comments section and remove the comments… sth I never thought I’d do… I’m sorry for having to delete sth I posted…

Yazan you did nothing, and we did nothing to be or feel sorry about.
what you demanded was so simple, and all what we did was polite till some psycos entered and we cannot stay calm after reading all the racist and stupid comments against us.
we did nothing, and I know that not all lebanese are like that, and not all Arabs are sick. But, I will not let anyone, anyone to make fun of us as a nation and insult us.
an essential aim of “oldamascus” and “roaming syria” is pateriotism, and when most people now are making fun of this word in this country, I still (like most bloggers) believe in it.

anonymous ya fuck breath. THERE ARE PPL THAT ARE NOT MUSLIM IN SYRIA. I WAS BEING INSULTING THE NON MUSLIMS TOO. SO I GUESS IN YOUR SCREWED UP HEAD ITS OK TO INSULT NON MUSLIMS BUT ITS HARAM TO INSULT MUSLIMS? YOU ARE SUCH A LOSER. IDIOTS LIKE YOU ARE THE TYPE I CANNOT STAND. IDIOTS LIKE YOU THAT DRAG RELIGION INTO EVERYTHING. WELL YOU CAN SUCK MY ROYAL DICK, YOU AND YOUR NON ARABS, WHEREVER YOU COME FROM, PAKISTAN, IRAN (YUK),OR SOME CHINKY COUNTRY, OR WHEREVER.

    HRH KING AL RASHID.

also nations sometimes can spread hatred, it’s not always individuals that do so.
for example electing Ariel Sharon can not be an individual act.
but in the Lbanese case (and this is our subject), we of course cannot judge a whole nation by few comments, or even by some news we hear or read, and especially when it comes to Lebanese people who are really diverse (logically of course).
besides, people can change their mind by time.

since you deleted the comments i never got to see what anybody (assuming somebody actually 3abbar what i wrote!!!) thought of all the flags and banners round town saying “sourya allah 7ameeha” …it would be nice to see what people think…personally i think it’s ridiculous…another empty slogan…we’ve heard so many aren’t people sick of them…walla 3eb 3alena…it’s like we didn’t learn anything!!!
p.s:there is even a cd out with “sourya allah 7ameeha” songs…if anybody interested..

i don’t understand why are u making a big deal of this!

  8. Yazan Says:

@Amr… The answer is not coming up with more language… it’s not an answer… since u do believe these are individuals then ignoring is the perfect answer…

@Anon1… it’s okay… I respect ur intentions, even if I might not agree with the way nor the reason ;)

@Abu takla.. thanx buddy, cheers ;)

@Maya.. It is lame.. and disgusting.. but for the regime, it’s not stupid… think about it!! I’m a bit in a hurry now, can’t elaborate much..

Yazan, you’re one of the reasons i started blogging at first place.. and what i love about your blog that you don’t care about what people think.. you just express whatever goes through your mind… i didn’t read the comments.. but i don’t think that you should be sorry!!
