We both know it’s not about prisoners Shady,
but, dont u think Israel DID what they set out to do.
1- They destroyed the basic infrastructure of Lebanon
2- They’ve weakened Hizbulla A LOT
3- They’re turned more lebanese against Hizbulla
4- They got the international community MORE involved in disarming Hizbulla, as the only choice for Lebanon to avoid similar situations.
5- The UN is working through an offer…
so, before even more damage gets to lebanon, release the fucking prisoners, do the UN offer, make a freaking arms free area in the south, and get it over with [Why Syria is OKAY with an arms free area controlled by the UN, but Lebanon should not be???].

comun dude, the US’s gonna prevent any solution ( offered by the UN or anyone else ) until the Israeli plan ( wich is independet from the soldiers case that triggered the attacks ) is done.
2.They haven’t weaken hezbollah that much, empty buildings man.
3. Hizbollah’s also trying to win some political gains from the attacks also, and it’s not as simple as you describe it.
Ayway to avoid a pile of irrelevant comments, I AM AGAINST THE WAR IN LEBANON AND AGAINST ANY KIND OF VIOLENCE IN ANY GOD DAMN PART OF THE WORLD.
the only thing is: I don’t think releasing the soldiers’s gonna change anything now.

I think we both share the same goal.
I’m basing my assumptions on AP, they said that a “high rank” israeli general stated that “Israel would stop military action once the soldeirs are released”…
it might not be as simple as that, but it makes sense to me.
You know that Israel can not afford to keep the whole north in shelters for weeks..
I really, honestly think there’s something cooking there, I mean comon France’s PM just after the G* is in beirut, Solana, Larsen… THERE’s DEFINITLEY something cooking, and there wouldnt be cooking if the US isnt involved. ;)
And, me, I’d go with ANYTHING that would stop this madness.

I’m going for a ceasefire at any cost, because I wanna save lives. Human beings are more important than any cause. that’s my red line.

I’m totally with the stop of the blood shedding in Lebanon, but not by simply complying with what Israel claims to want!
From the moment Hezbollah captured those soldier, Israel knew that they would have to negotiate but they wanted to take advantage of the situation.
Now the harm and destruction have already been done and the Lebanese suffered. It would be naive not to get at least the Lebanese prisoners out of Israelis prisons in exchange of the soldiers.

People are dying, human beings burnt alive, Israel has no intention of stopping, international community has no intention of stopping them, Amr Moussan and Soud al-Faisal are busy telling jokes, al-Moallem is busy taking advantage of the situation, did I say Lebanese people are dying? dying as in, Kamboom, zip them and rap them, dying. the economy is being raised to the ground. No there could be a lot more damage, they could kill another 400 lebanese, u think it’s worth it?

أخي يزن التشبث بأفكارك الليبرالية لا يفيد خصوصا بعد تبدل الظروف .السبب ليس خطف الجنديين سبق ان فعلها حزب الله ولم يلقى هذا الهجوم !
