With Sake, nothing tastes better than Olives. But you would have to be a Levantine living in Japan to know that

Yazan, It is sad time for Syria, I thought the regime after seven years of stalling the wagon of change, will wake up and make some changes especially regarding election. What a president looking for his country wellbeing will achieve from these group of voiceless members in the parliament. Those Baa Baa sheep people with no programs and with no parties behind them are useless people and our people know that. This is a bad news to the people to dream beyond the next seven years. The young guys should only think in immigration, only one choice. If this president allow a little change he would not loose his grab on power and people, he could have won his country for ever. But he chooses the wrong track, to be against history, against future, against other model like china, Russia, against Mauritania model, against the letting Syria enter the current golb and against the sense of all honest citizens. I hate to see this country go to civil war like Iraq, but in my opinion someone or group out there is working had towards this goal. Mr. Bunni is a civil rights and human rights activist, he suppose to be the sensible meter for the regime existence. If there is one honest guy in the government there, of in the Baath party or in the regime he should speak loud against this stupid decision or domes day is near.

Saint

Yazan, I know you are smarter than that!!!! what do you expect from people who mostly buy their seats to be in the parliement, they are probably some who are there for the right reasons but they don't have any real power, they are part of the show.

As for Bunni, the decision as you might know is not by the judge, it goes much higher than that to the top of the Pyramid...If Mr Bashar does not agree with the decision (who are we kidding) then he can issue a presidential pardon and release everyone...but he is too coward to do such a thing.
