خلونا نعيش!
هم ساكنو التفاصيل منذ صرختك الأولى وحتى نزعك الأخير.
منذ استيقاظك وحتى آخر هزيع في ليلك البهيم.
هم البداية والنهاية مروراً بما بينهما.
تلك القاعدة رغم تناثرها تشكل أرخبيلا واحداً من ظلمات عصر ولى وانقرض.
لقد انهارت الحضارات السابقة تحت ضربات الهمجيات السابقة واليوم ثمة من يفكر ويعمل على إعادة المشهد المأساوي الرهيب.
السيناريو عينه تقريباً..بدايته في التحريم وخاتمته في التهديم..

لولا الرومان من سمع بقبائل الجرمان؟
لولا هرقل هل احتلتِ العقرب برجاً في السماء؟

Dear Yazan,
These lines come especially timely with the news of the Syrian regime blocking facebook and other tools from the poor kids in Syria.
The message is, “you can breath but you can’t communicate, we know what is good for you.”
May be you from your position in Japan can tell those primitive authority in Syria that the colonial America after WWII, did not prevent the Japanese people from communicating and from building their country.
And even the American hegemony boots in Iraq did not block facebook and did not prevent people from communicating and till now they are without emergency decree.
