I checked out the link you posted- everything is very well described and captured! I was in Damascus very recently, and came back to “modern & civilized” France with a very different feeling- as Jimmy stated, a feeling that I havent had with any of my other travels. It’s just a shame that many people still think of Syria as a “scary & dangerous” country to visit…if you only knew the reactions I got here when I told people I was off for a trip to Syria…

I am so in love with Syria from the cities I have visited whic are Homs, Lattakia, Tartus, and Damascus. I have been more than 4 times to Lattakia and for relatively long stays. I also visited Damascus for a weekend with our photography tutors and thus I saw and experienced Damascus through the lens of a camera and that alone is a very different experience. It allows for a deeper inspection and as Jimmy says, it becomes evident that Syria is not just any Middle Eastern Country….
