How are we, as mankind, going to treat other life forms that we might bump into in that infinite comic matter?
This question is very relevant, especially if that other life form was less developed than ours.

We would certainly feel threatened by that life form, be defensive, misunderstand them and abuse them.
If they were less intelligent, we would assume that our lives is so much important than theirs, and some how believe that their recourses belong to us and We will apply our justice in many freaky ways.

I hope we treat them with peace and respect, but knowing our mentality, we will probably imprision them and do medical experiments on them.

Maybe we would be gods for them if we ruled them. As there were “gods” for ancient civilizations as aztecs, egyptians etc.

Now there is the fear that comes from the unknown. But once we get acquainted with our fellow cosmic residents, then the Chinese will rush to sell them goods. The Russian, British and Americans will sell them useless weapons. The liberals will preach liberty to them. The conservatives will preach religion. The wealthy Gulf Arabs will go on pleasure-seeking tours to that particular planet, sexually abusing the extraterrestrials. The poor Arabs will try to learn their language and queue at their diplomatic missionaries to get visas. Or they’ll find their ways using illegal spaceships and get decimated along the way…

The other day someone was justifying supersonic flights of the future by saying that the plane will only emit supersonic bangs over the oceans which are “uninhabited”. Simon
